Born 1959.
M. Sc. in Engineering Physics,
Lic. Sc. in Automatic Control, D. Sc. in Automatic Control,
B.A. in theoretical and practical philosophy, and
Docent in Information Technology, all from
Lund University, Lund, Sweden.
Currently Full Professor of Information Technology at the
Department of Information Technology, Lund University,
where his research is focused on applied artificial intelligence, automatic control,
real-time monitoring and diagnosis, multilevel flow modeling, and game playing.
One of the main developers of the theory on multilevel flow models, (MFM). Has
worked with MFM since 1988, during his Ph. D. project at the
Department of Automatic Control, Lund University, Lund, Sweden, as a
Post. Doc. at Knowledge Systems Laboratory, Stanford University, California, and at the
Department of Information Technology, Lund University, Lund, Sweden.
Board member of the Swedish AI Society (SAIS) and
scientific advisor to DHF Airport Systems.
