FORSMARKS KRAFTGRUPP The Forsmark Nuclear Power Plant is located in Uppland, on the east coast of Sweden, and accounts for one-sixth of Sweden's total electric power production. It comprises three boiling water reactors, with a capacities of 968 MW, 964 MW, and 1230 MW.  Forsmark is owned by Vattenfall, Mellansvensk Kraftgrupp, and Sydkraft Kärnkraft. A GOALART PROJECT WITH FORSMARK From 2005, GoalArt is a subcontractor to IFE Halden in a joint research project with Forsmark, Oskarshamn, and Ringhals in Sweden, and Loviisa and Olkiluoto in Finland. This project aims at full-scale implementation of root cause analysis and state-based alarm priority for the Hambo simulator, which is based on the Forsmark 3 unit. Modeling and software integration will be finished in the summer of 2006, followed by HMI design and user tests with operator crews from all participating plants in 2006-2007.
