LUNDS ENERGI More than 160 000 customers use the Lunds Energi Group's services in electricity, the electricity grid, district heating, district cooling, natural gas, service, communication services, and contractors. The strategy is to be a local leading operator in the south of Sweden. The core of the operations are in Lund and Lomma, but the group is also established in the middle and northwestern part of Skåne, Blekinge, Småland, Nynäshamn, Västergötland and Sjuhärads. Lunds Energi's environmental commitment is guaranteed by a ISO 14001 environmental certification. Environmental questions are taken into consideration in all areas of operation.  A GOALART PROJECT WITH LUNDS ENERGI In 2004, GoalArt performed a project with Lunds Energi on a delivery of alarm analysis and a GoalArt Diagnostic Station for the power plant Återbruket close to Lomma. The system is now used in continuous operation and performs root cause analysis on-line on real-time data. It also provides automatic adaptive alarm shelving, alarm statistics, and top lists. In September 2004, GoalArt performed an alarm cleanup at Återbruket. The results showed that 94% of the alarms could be removed. When the two most problematic signals were discounted, 54% of the alarms could be removed. In addition, several silent alarms were found, and alarm limits were tightened, so that faults are discovered earlier.
