Root cause analysis and state-based alarm priority were succesfully tested and evaluated. From 2005, GoalArt is a subcontractor to IFE Halden in a joint research project with Forsmark, Oskarshamn, and Ringhals in Sweden, and Loviisa and Olkiluoto in Finland. This project aims at a full-scale implementation of root cause analysis and state-based alarm priority for the Hambo simulator, which is based on the Forsmark 3 unit. Modeling and software integration will be finished in the summer of 2006, followed by HMI design and user tests with operator crews from all participating plants in 2006-2007.
